Sage Po is a harpist who loves bringing the beauty of her instrument to weddings, dinners, and special events of all kinds. After falling in love with the harp at age eight, she immediately began taking lessons with celtic harpist Lisa Stine. After several years she shifted her focus to classical music, studying with Laura Porter, principal harpist of the Fresno Philharmonic. Since then she has performed across the country and been awarded numerous honors for her interpretations of both classic showpieces and new works for the harp.
Sage holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Harp Performance and a Certificate in Music Education from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She has played with the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra, Johnstown Symphony, and Altoona Symphony and was featured by the Pittsburgh Concert Society, Johnstown Chamber Music Festival, and the Carnegie Mellon Baroque Ensemble. She regularly performs with the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra and is Assistant Conductor for the Music in the Mountains Youth Orchestra. She now lives in California’s beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills, where she is a concert artist, chamber musician, and music educator.
